HUMANIST EVENTS
These are the types of activities our organization has been regularly hosting:
-
POT LUCK WITH SPEAKER - On the second and fourth Sunday of every month we meet for a potluck lunch and hear a speaker talk on a wide range of topics. For larger groups we sometimes host this at library spaces, which eliminates the pot-luck lunch. We just provide refreshments for those events.
-
BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP - On the first Saturday of every month we host a book discussion group, alternating fiction and non fiction.
-
MEN'S BREAKFAST GROUP - On alternating Thursdays and Saturdays our men's breakfast group meets at various restaurants around the Treasure Valley.
-
PUB TRIVIA - We get together and play pub trivia at a few of our favorite restaurants in town. (These aren't posted, but we can get you more information if you contact us or come to any of our meetings.)
-
GREENBELT CLEANUP - We have adopted a portion of the Boise Greenbelt and keep it clean during the warmer months, or whenever it needs it.
-
BOARD GAME NIGHTS/AFTERNOONS - We get together and play all kinds of board games from the social to the strategic.
